Rules for the ADHD community

Welcome to our community for parents of ADHD patients and those affected! We are here to create a supportive and informative environment. Please observe the following rules to ensure positive and constructive interactions within our group:

  • Introductions are welcome: We are happy when new members briefly introduce themselves. Feel free to share your experiences, your connection to ADHD, and your expectations for the community.
  • Respectful interaction: Treat all members with respect and empathy. Different opinions are allowed, but remain polite and avoid insults or personal attacks.
  • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of members. Do not share personal information or stories outside the group unless you have explicit permission from the person involved.
  • Relevance of topics: Keep discussions focused on ADHD and related issues. Off-topic posts should be avoided.
  • No advertising: Please do not promote products, services, or other groups within our community unless it is an explicitly approved activity.
  • Sources and advice: When sharing information or advice, try to support it with reliable sources. We encourage the exchange of helpful resources.
  • No medical advice: This community does not replace professional medical guidance. Discuss medical questions with qualified professionals.
  • Consideration for triggers: Please be aware that some topics may be sensitive. Use trigger warnings when discussing potentially distressing subjects, and be considerate toward other members.
  • Constructive criticism: If you provide criticism, do so constructively and respectfully. The goal is to create a supportive atmosphere where everyone can benefit from others’ contributions and experiences.
  • Reporting violations: If you notice inappropriate behavior or rule violations, please report them to the moderators so that appropriate action can be taken.

Following these rules will help ensure that our community remains a safe and welcoming space. We value your membership and look forward to your valuable contributions and support. Together, we can share information and support each other to make a positive impact on the lives of people affected by ADHD and their families.

If you have any questions or concerns, we are always available to assist you.

Kind regards,

The brainjo Team
